Thursday, June 23, 2022 at 5:00 PM until 6:00 PMEastern Daylight Time UTC -04:00

Darmouth Engineering - Virtual Info Session
In 2019, Guarini School for Graduate and Advanced Studies teamed up with Vice Provost for Entrepreneurship and Technology Transfer, Eric Fossum, to expand the Innovation PhD Program that has been running with great success at the Thayer School of Engineering since 2008. The purpose of the training program is to build the skills and knowledge necessary to create a new enterprise — such as a start-up company, a new division of an established company, or a government or non-profit enterprise.

At Thayer, students have gone on to create startups based on their PhD research, or have become valuable early members of other startups. Some have joined established companies but are prepared to create an enterprise when opportunity knocks.

As a student in this highly selective program, you will complete all the regular PhD requirements along with additional studies that prepare you for the opportunity to build an enterprise based on technical innovation.

Connect virtually with PhD Innovation Program Director, Eric Fossum, on Thursday, June 23 from 5-6 p.m. ET to learn more about ways to enhance your PhD research through the PhD Innovation Program.
